Our ‘live help’ feature explained

What is live help?

The live help feature on our website is a totally free ‘message chat’ feature, that presents you with the opportunity to chat live with a real sales advisor.

The live help person with whom you chat to, will be fully versed in every aspect of ‘personalised number plates’ and will be able to offer you their advice as and when you need it.

When you see the above image on our homepage it will let you know that a chat support person is online and available to help you with any query that you may have.

Why would i need to use live help?

The live chat feature is extremely useful if you happen to be browsing for your new personalised registration number and find that you have a query on a particular matter, such as:

  • Searching for a suitable personalised number plate
  • Vehicle documentation query
  • Getting your new personalised registration number onto a vehicle you have just purchased
  • Buying for gifts
  • Retention certificate queries

No matter how small your query may be, we are here to offer you advice whenever you may need it.

How do I use the live help feature?

Using live help is straight forward and does not require any software to be downloaded to your computer. When you enter into a live help chat it will bring a seperate window up on your computer that looks like this.

Step 1
Go to the www.ftreg.com homepage by clicking here when you are ready.

Step 2
Click on the photograph of the live help operator (when ‘ONLINE’ is displayed)

Step 3
When the seperate ‘chat window’ pops up simply enter your NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS and TELEPHONE NUMBER (these must all be entered to activate a live chat session)

Step 4
In your chat window that is now showing, you can type any question that you need to ask.

It really is that simple!

If a live chat operator is not available you will see the following box.

You may still send a message if you have a query by clicking the ‘offline’ message box. Your query will be handled and responded to as soon as a sales advisor becomes available.
