How to change a nominee on a V750 Certificate of Entitlement

When assigning a cherished registration mark to a vehicle from a V750 Certificate of Entitlement, the DVLA states that the nominee named on the V750 must match exactly with the registered keepers name shown on the current V5C or V5C/2 or they will not process the application.
If the nominee name showing on the V750 is different to the name displayed on the V5C or V5C/2, then you will need to send the V750 Certificate off by post to the main DVLA in Swansea to ‘add or change nominee details’ along with their fee of £25 in cheque form made payable to DVLA Swansea.

The DVLA always say to allow up to 4 weeks for the replacement V750 certificate to arrive in the new nominee details.
Our nominee change express service
If you are ready to assign your registration mark to a vehicle from a V750 certificate and the nominee name does differ to that shown on the V5C, you can take advantage of our ‘express service’ rather than waiting 4 weeks for the new V750 certificate to arrive from the DVLA.
By using our express service, we can have your personalised registration mark fully assigned to your vehicle within just 3 working days of receiving paperwork from you, even if the nominee details do not match the V5C.
Once you have the required vehicle documentation gathered up for the vehicle that is receiving the registration mark, you will need to forward them to ourselves along with the V750 showing the incorrect nominee details.
The mandatory DVLA charge of £25 to change the nominee details will of course still apply. In addition to the DVLA charge, the cost of using our express service is just £30 +vat. (£35.25p inclusive of vat)
